Welcome to Bridal Blooms Hire Co! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website (https://bridalbloomshireco.com.au) and our rental services. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

Important Note: These Terms apply to purchases made via our online store only. Custom wedding and event bookings are subject to separate terms outlined during the consultation and quoting process.

By making a purchase with Bridal Blooms Hire Co Pty Ltd, the customer agrees that he/she understands and is accepting the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Rental Agreement

1.1 Rental Period

All rental items are rented for a period of five (5) days, beginning four (4) days before the scheduled event date and ending one (1) day after the event date. The customer agrees to return all rental items within this time period to Bridal Blooms Hire Co. The specific return date will be clearly communicated upon order confirmation.

1.2 Use of Rental Items

The customer further agrees that the rented property shall:

  • Not be used beyond the intended capacity.
  • Not be used in any manner for which it was not designed or designated.
  • Not be used near an open flame.
  • Not be used in a negligent manner.
  • Be handled with care to prevent damage beyond normal wear and tear.

1.3 Insurance and Damage

The customer hereby agrees that he/she shall fully indemnify Bridal Blooms Hire Co Pty Ltd for any and all damage to or loss of the rented property. Insurance is built into the cost of each item in order to cover normal wear and tear of the products, including broken flowers, damaged petals, minor stains, or other determined natural wear of the product.

Insurance will not cover items damaged beyond normal wear and tear or items NOT returned. This includes actions such as:

  • Disassembling arrangements.
  • Causing burns.
  • Excessive staining.
  • Subjecting items to water or fire damage.
  • Any other damage resulting from misuse or negligence.

The customer shall be responsible for 50% of the rental cost per damaged item if the damage extends beyond normal wear and tear. In the event of unreturned items, the customer will be charged the full value of the item(s), estimated at 150% of the rental cost.

Examples of Potential Fees:

  • Damaged Bridal Bouquet: $65
  • Unreturned Bridesmaid Bouquet: $95
  • Unreturned Corsage: $36

1.4 Return of Property

The customer hereby agrees to return the rented property and all original packaging materials to Bridal Blooms Hire Co Pty Ltd using the provided prepaid postage label. The property must be returned to the determined shipping provider one (1) day after the event date (the "Return Date"). If this day falls on a Sunday or Public Holiday, return on the following business day.

A $25 late fee will be charged per day if items are not returned to the determined shipping provider by the agreed Return Date/time. A $50 fee will be charged for each packaging insert not returned. Bridal Blooms Hire Co Pty Ltd is not responsible for any personal property unintentionally returned with rental property.

2. Pricing and Payment Terms

2.1 Pricing

All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST unless otherwise stated. Bridal Blooms Hire Co Pty Ltd reserves the right to change pricing at any time without notice; however, all pricing is fixed once your order is confirmed and full payment has been received.

2.2 Payment

Full payment is required at the time of purchase for all online rental orders. We accept credit cards, PayPal, Afterpay, and other payment methods displayed at checkout.

3. Cancellation and Change Order Policy

3.1 Rental Order Cancellations

Bridal Blooms Hire Co Pty Ltd requires a 90-day notice on cancellations for rental orders in order to issue a refund of the 50% deposit. Orders cancelled less than 90 days before the rental date will forfeit the 50% deposit. Cancellations must be submitted via email to info@bridalbloomshireco.com.au, or by logging into the customer portal at www.bridalbloomshireco.com.au.

3.2 Rental Order Changes

Changes to an existing rental order can be made up to 10 days prior to the event date. Within 10 days of the event date, deletions are not accepted. Any additions need to be made by placing a new order. Exchanges must be of equal or greater value. No cancellations of individual items are allowed within 10 days prior to the event date. Orders are subject to ship 1-2 days prior to the estimated ship date.

3.3 Preview Pack Orders

For preview pack orders, once your order has been placed, edits cannot be made. Cancellations must be submitted via email to info@bridalbloomshireco.com.au. Preview packs cancelled more than 7 days before the estimated ship date will receive a full refund. Preview packs cancelled within 7 days of the ship date will forfeit the amount paid.

4. Shipping and Delivery

4.1 Shipping Availability

We offer shipping within Australia.

4.2 Shipping Costs

We offer free* shipping on Australian orders over $100. Additional fees may apply for remote or regional areas; if applicable, we’ll contact you before dispatch. Shipping may increase for larger orders requiring multiple parcels.

4.3 Authority to Leave

Orders are shipped with ‘Authority to Leave’ as default. If you prefer signature on delivery, please email us immediately after placing your order at info@bridalbloomshireco.com.au.

4.4 Transit Issues and Optional Coverage

All orders are shipped using trusted courier partners. Once an item leaves our hands, Bridal Blooms Hire Co Pty Ltd is not responsible for delays, loss, or damage caused by third-party couriers unless "Peace of Mind Cover" has been selected at checkout (Australia only).

Peace of Mind Cover: This optional cover guarantees a refund or replacement if delivery issues occur, including loss or damage confirmed by the courier. Without this cover, courier-related issues are handled on a case-by-case basis and compensation is not guaranteed.

4.5 Order Cancellations and Changes (Non-Rental Items)

Once an order (for non-rental items) has been placed, it cannot be cancelled. If you need to request a change, please get in touch as soon as possible. While we’ll always do our best to assist, changes may not be possible depending on the stage your order is at or the type of item purchased. Any updates made after an order has been placed (and prior to dispatch) are at our discretion. Where a change is possible, additional fees may apply to cover processing, materials, or administration already incurred.

5. Returns and Refunds (Non-Rental Items)

5.1 Australian Orders (Change of Mind)

Change of mind returns are accepted within 30 days for full-priced items. Items must be unused, undamaged, and in original packaging. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs and should use tracked and insured postage for their protection.

5.2 Damaged or Faulty Items (Non-Rental Items)

Please notify us within 7 days of receipt with photos and a description of the issue. We may offer a replacement, store credit, or refund at our discretion, in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.

5.3 Exclusions

Custom, made-to-order, pre-order, and sale items are not eligible for change-of-mind returns.

5.4 Australian Consumer Law (ACL)

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which guarantees your right to a refund, replacement, or repair if a product is faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

6. Product Descriptions

We make every effort to ensure all product descriptions and images are accurate. Due to variations in materials, lighting, and screen displays, slight differences in colour or finish may occur and are not considered faults. Like real florals, artificial florals will have variations in colours and an occasional petal may show slight bruising. These are not considered faults and are designed to create a more realistic bloom.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, imagery, branding, graphics, and designs — is the intellectual property of Bridal Blooms Hire Co Pty Ltd. You may not copy, reproduce, or use any content without our express written permission.

8. Commercial Use and Licensing

Our products are not intended or licensed for commercial hire, commercial resale, or any third-party business use without explicit permission. Products are sold/rented exclusively for personal use by the purchasing/renting couple.

Any business wishing to use our products in a commercial capacity must obtain written approval and a commercial-use licence from Bridal Blooms Hire Co Pty Ltd. Unauthorised commercial use, reproduction, or promotion of our designs or imagery is strictly prohibited.

Clients may resell physical arrangements (purchased, not rented) after their event; however, businesses must not advertise or represent Bridal Blooms Hire Co designs as their own work or imply authorship, partnership, or endorsement without written agreement.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Australian law, Bridal Blooms Hire Co Pty Ltd is not liable for:

  • Delays, loss, or damage caused by third-party shipping services (unless Peace of Mind Cover is purchased and applicable).
  • Misuse or improper handling of products after delivery.
  • Events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to weather events, natural disasters, postal strikes, acts of government, or force majeure.
  • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our products or services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claim arising from your purchase or use of our site and services is limited to the amount paid for the product or service in question, subject always to the non-excludable guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.

10. Privacy

We’re committed to protecting your privacy. Any personal information collected through our website is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Our Privacy Policy details how we collect, use, store, and disclose your personal information.
